I visited my sit-spot from around 4:00pm to around 5:30pm. I usually go to my sit-spot in the morning or around noon, because that’s usually the best time for me to actually go and have enough time to spend there. I chose this time because I was interested in seeing the first part of the sunset, but I didn’t want to be there when it got too dark and cold. Sadly, I was not able to see the full sunset, but I did manage to get some pictures of the sun sort of going down over the mountains. Maybe next time I will go a little bit later to see the sun go down completely. I can imagine that with the incredible view from my sit-spot, the sunset would be like something out of a movie.   v

The weather is clear, there are only a few clouds in the sky and the temperature is quite warm, probably around 70 degrees. There is a nice breeze blowing through which makes the trees rustle and makes it nice to sit outside in. The sun was very bright, and it was a kind of “golden hour” of light. The sky is a clear blue, but mixed with the golden light from the sun it became a yellow-blue color. The 4 horses were up by the fence again and they have been getting their longer coats, preparing themselves for winter. There are also a lot less flies buzzing around them, I assume because the temperatures are having significant declines, the flies aren’t going to be around for much longer since they like warmer weather. These horses and a few flies, were the only organisms I saw during my time at my sit-spot.

The purple flower has not re-grown yet, so I was very sad to see that there was still no purple flower. I hope soon it will re-grow. Maybe there is a little stem that has re-grown but not blossomed into a flower yet? I’m waiting to see! The trees that are covering the mountains are slowly changing colors. I thought that they would be changing faster than what they are currently. I was hoping for a whole red-orange-yellow mountain. But it is very pretty to look at all the splashes of color amongst the green leaves of the forests. By looking at the picture above, you can see specks of color throughout the forests, hinting that soon the whole forest will be a mix of the different colors of fall.  The trees that i sit between are slowly loosing their primary leaves, but these vines that grow up the left tree are not falling off or even dying. I wonder if the leaves on these vines will change colors and fall when it becomes wintertime?
