I went out to my sit spot during a time I have never been, can y’all guess?? Yes it was the morning, I stunned me too that I could wake up and to go to my peaceful Sit-Spot. I saw the grass, moist from the morning dew. It got my crocs wet and grassy. As I walked across the bridge that leads me to my glorious spot. I noticed that the grass had been cut, it smelled like freshly cut grass and I saw the marks the lawnmower left. Im not going to lie the marks left by the lawnmower really decreased the curb appeal. It was about 56 degrees outside but the air was crisp, it honestly felt nice. I watched the way the stream moved as I was sitting. I listened to the chirping of the birds like a song. It was about 9:15 when I arrived. I had never been to the spot so early and I found it to be rejuvenating. I expected to see more animals and bugs since it was early but I didn’t see anything. No insect, no small fish, I only saw the the birds in the sky. The sky outside was blue not many clouds, not many disturbances. I sat and watched, I watched the big trucks getting trash from Hollins. The peacefulness of it all makes me want to go to that spot in the mornings frequently. It is a lot more leaves on the ground than when I came before and it really makes me feel like it’s fall. Until next time.

I really love the picture you took of your sit-spot! Its so pretty and the colors there are so vibrant. I really like how you described your sit-spot. It seems like the perfect place to be when you want to have some peace and quiet and just listen to your surroundings.
