My sit-spot

On Sunday November 8th, I decided to enjoy my sit-spot at 9:17pm. I needed some time to enjoy the night after rushing to do laundry. As I sat there it was peaceful, the top of the hill where the new apartments are were all lit up. Tinker and Randolph were also lit up but instead of just a yellow/white color from normal lights, they projected a variation of colored lights. After I was done looking at the buildings around me, I began to glaze up at the stars and was in awe how beautiful the sky was. I have never been at my sit-spot this late at night, but it was beautiful.

The experience I had in my sit-spot was very relaxing and it was a nice way to end my weekend. The weather was just what someone would expect the perfect fall weather to be like. There was a chill in the air, but it was not from wind. Since the sun went down the cold air creeped in. The cold air did

The Stars in the sky

not make my hands cold surprisingly, but it made my legs cold even through my jeans I was wearing.

The sky above was beautiful! It was filled with stars; I only wish there were not so many buildings around, so I would have been able to actually really see how beautiful it was. Sadly, again, there were no animals I could see that were out and I could not hear any either. All I was able to hear were the cars and trucks rushing by on 81 the interstate, and on Willington road. I also kept hearing the air/heat machine from Presser.

Since I have never experienced my sit-spot late at night before, it was wonderful. It was a great the to spend my time doing on Sunday night before classes started the following day. I would do this time again, because the fresh air was great, and it was a great stress release from worrying about Monday.

Since I did my sit-spot 4 in the afternoon, and I normally tend to do my sit-spots in the afternoon, but the nighttime sit-spot was very enjoyable. My last sit-spot, it was rainy and colder than the one I experienced Sunday night, it was a little warmer and there were no clouds to be seen in the sky. I had a better experience with this sit-spot than I did with the last one.
