This is what the sky looked like when I arrived at my sit spot at 6:00 PM, about 45 minutes past sunset.

I drew a diagram of how I was facing and where the moon was in my view.

This is a picture of the tree canopy that I have been observing

This is a picture of the thorn bush and flower that I am observing. The flower stem is lying flat to the ground near the bottom left corner.

On my way back to Tinker from my sit spot I saw a small herd of deer, this was on the back side of A hall near the tennis courts.

I arrived at my sit-spot at 6:00 PM, the sun set around 5:15 so it was about 45 minutes post-sunset. It was getting a lot darker, and after about fifteen to twenty minutes it was extremely dark. I have never been out this late, much less in the dark. I am not a fan of the dark, in fact I am a giant baby when it comes to these kinds of things. I like to be in a safe and secure building once the sunsets.

Since my last time at my sit-spot a lot has changed. Most of the foliage is gone, the grass is beginning to fade to a brown color, and the flowers are no longer in bloom. My sit-spot is no longer as beautiful as it once was. All of the leaves on the trees have fallen and are laying on the ground. The deer tracks are becoming more muddy, due to a lack of vegetation. The bugs are no longer around, making it much nicer to sit at my spot.

While at my sit-spot t was cloudy and cold. The sky was a dark blue-purple color, and thin wispy clouds lined the sky. It was very beautiful, but it was also extremely cold and windy. There was eerie silence while I was at my sit-spot. All I could hear was the wind. There were no crickets or nocturnal birds to hear. I felt as if I was in a sensory deprivation chamber because it was so silent.

My objects that I am observing have all changed greatly since I began my observation. The tree that I am observing has lost all of its foliage; the foliage is now brown and dry on the ground beneath the tree. The flower than I am observing is now just a small stem that will most likely dry out soon. I tagged the stem a few times back to ensure that I would remember where it was when it moved past blooming. The thorn bush that I am observing (I changed from crickets to the bush upon your recommendation because I could never get close enough for a picture of a cricket), has lost the majority of its under foliage, the top of the bush has not lost its foliage yet. The thorns on the bush are also quite small in comparison to the thorns that I grew up around.

I did not see or hear any animals; this was very disappointing. I was hoping to see some deer or maybe hear an owl or something, but I was greeted with eerie silence and isolation. I did have my friend with me to calm some of my nerves about being out in the dark. I saw a small herd of deer on my way back to my room at the back of Tinker near the tennis court. I was hoping to see more animals than I did. I was hoping that maybe I would get to see nocturnal animals, or even just anything other than grasshoppers and spiders. During the day I predominately have seen grasshoppers and spiders.

This session was a lot different than any of my other sessions. I felt more out of place than I have ever felt at my sit-spot. I felt as if I should not have been there, but also as if I was stuck and could not move. I was on edge and extremely alert during my time. I left after an hour because I felt like I was going crazy and my anxiety levels were extremely high. I have seen a lot of bugs that were not there during this session. This is because of the time and the season, as winter approaches fewer and fewer bugs will be out.
